About The Piece:

Hello! My name is Clara Di Loreto. The main inspiration for this piece was the decisions I make in my daily life. Usually, I make choices based on what is urgent - rather than what is important. There have been times where I prioritize my own selfish habits over spending time with friends or family. I'm trying to nurture those relationships once again, and because I'm not the greatest with words I used the hedgehog as a metaphor. The hedgehog is slightly uncomfortable to touch, yet I won't let that stop me from reaching out towards it.
